Brewbus Terms and Conditions

Reservation & Payment

Any online or telephone reservation or booking must be accompanied by confirmation of payment of the full price of the selected tour together with any associated booking fees that may apply. Until payment in full is received the tour booking is not confirmed.

 

Delays, Cancellations & Refunds

Tours booked and paid online will be refunded 100% of the cost of the tour – less any booking fees incurred – only if customer cancellation is notified 48 hours or more prior to the tour departure time. A 50% refund applies to notification between 24 hours and 48 hours prior to departure.

There will be no entitlement to a refund for any cancellation notified within 24 hours of the tour departure time.

If any Brewbus tour is delayed due to unforeseen circumstances and the tour is capable of re-commencing within a reasonable time-frame passengers will be reimbursed only that part of the tour that was uncompleted (if any). This clause does not apply if passengers choose to vacate the tour early or passengers who have caused such delay by their own actions.

If any Brewbus tour is forced to cancel due to any unforeseen circumstances passengers will be returned to the departure point as soon as practicable and offered either a credit to re-book on a future date or 100% refund of the cost of the tour. This clause does not apply to passengers who have caused the cancellation by their own actions.

 

Itinerary and Variations

Brewbus reserves all rights to control of the itinerary of every tour it offers without notice to passengers. All Breweries and Brew Bars visited are at the sole discretion of Brewbus.

Brewbus reserves all rights to control the types, models and number of vehicles used during a tour should the any Brewbus marked vehicle be unavailable.

Any behind the scenes look at a working brewery is subject to availability of the breweries being visited at that time for health and safety reasons or other reasons beyond the control of Brewbus.

 

Conduct

Brewbus may refuse passengers who are intoxicated, or abusive, or, if in the opinion of Brewbus employees or contractors, causing the health or safety of our tour guides, drivers or other passengers to be at risk. No refund will be given if a passenger is refused or removed on this basis.

Pursuant to section 38 of the Summary Offences Act 1981 it is an offence to consume alcohol on a passenger carrying service such as Brewbus. Brewbus does not currently hold any license that would allow the consumption of alcohol on board.

Breweries and Brew Bars visited may refuse to supply or sell alcohol to persons who are intoxicated, are under the age of 18 years or fail to provide a valid form of proof of age identification. Staff of all premises visited have the absolute discretion to remove any person(s) from their premise on the basis of their own policies. All alcohol supplied from the breweries or bars to our customers is at the sole discretion of the licensee brewery or bar manager/owner. Brewbus does not sell of supply any alcohol to customers.

Brewbus accepts no responsibility for further transportation of any passenger removed either from a tour or brewery or brew bar under these circumstances and it shall be for the passenger to arrange suitable transportation from such location. No reimbursement or refund will be given in these circumstances.

 

Liability

Brewbus are not liable for and deny all responsibility for personal injury or property damage or loss arising out of these activities.

A passenger's baggage and personal effects shall be carried at owner’s risk as provided for under the Carriage of Goods Act.

Brewbus is not responsible for any losses or additional expenses due to delays or alterations in air, land or sea travel due to inclement weather, acts of God, strikes, breakdowns, civil unrest, quarantine, or other circumstances beyond its control.

Any property left on Brewbus will be kept at our office for 14 days and if no contact is made to collect the items they will be disposed of at Brewbus’s sole discretion.

 

Photographs

The photographs reproduced in any website, social media site or promotional material depict typical scenes experienced, but the subject matter may not necessarily be seen or experienced whilst visiting that destination on any given day.

During your tour you may be included in some photographs and/or video recordings taken by our guides and drivers that will be used for future promotional advertising purposes, including social media, and by booking on to this tour you authorise the use of any images you are captured in to be used without any further consent or payment.

 

Acknowledgement and Acceptance

In booking a tour with New Zealand Craft Beer Tours Limited (‘Brewbus NZ’) the participant(s) acknowledge that they have read, understood and accept these conditions.

 

Covid-19

As of 12-Sep-2022 the New Zealand COVID-19 Protection Framework (traffic lights) will no longer be in use. Face coverings and vaccination passports are not required on Brewbus NZ tours.

Brewbus NZ will continue to follow New Zealand Government requirements as applicable. Availability of tours and products may be affected by Government criteria imposed on venues beyond our control.

Full refunds are offered to customers should their tour be cancelled due to COVID-19 reasons.
